Dr. Weyrich's Naturopathic Functional Medicine Notebook
Overview
Bipolar disorder is a psychosis in which the patient alternates between
depression and
mania,
although an individual patient may exhibit predominantly one state or the other.
It is outside Dr. Weyrich's scope to prescribe antipsychotic drugs to treat bipolar disorder,
but Dr. Weyrich can provide adjunctive therapies that may be very beneficial, and allow the
doctors prescribing antipsychotics to minimize the doses (and side effects).

However, Dr. Weyrich has not treated any cases of depression and bipolar with LDN.
HPN has been reported to be useful for treating bipolar disorder
[Snook], [Willis].

system by it's inventor, Corey Snook.
However, Dr. Weyrich has not treated any cases of bipolar disorder
with this technique.
Neurofeedback has proven useful for treating and bipolar disorder.
