OVERVIEW
Dihydrohonokiol-B (DHH-B; 3'-(2 propenyl)-5-propyl-(1,1'-biphenyl)-2,4'-diol), which is a a partially reduced derivative of honokiol, is an effective anxiolytic-like agent in mice [Maruyama2001 🕮 ].
Do not confuse DHH-B with another chemical called
diethylamino-hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate
which is an organic compound used in sunscreens to absorb UVA radiation.
